Would you like to learn how to drive our Shannon Launch & Recovery System/SLARs ? It carries our 18 tonne lifeboat. 22m in length, weighing in at 37 tonnes and a top speed of 10mph, it is a huge piece of machinery. We are recruiting shore crew, once trained you can either train to be a SLARs driver or head launcher, both roles are vital to our mission of saving lives at sea.
