Default search engine is Google, but I end up searching in Yahoo
Google is set as my default search engine. I have deleted all the other options except Google and Google Chrome. When I open a new tab and search either in the address bar or the search bar in the middle of the screen, my search ends up being completed by yahoo.

Using Google Search But Results Show As Yahoo Search Results I use Chrome from the Internet, meaning that Google Search is my home screen, although if I use the search box, it jumps to the results in Yahoo search, driving me crazy. Yahoo keeps showing up even after deleting it as search engine. I have followed all advice for removing Yahoo and yet it continues to show up. I repeatedly check my settings and it is nowhere to be found, yet each time I search for something it opens in Yahoo. Help.

Aswell, the search engine is default set to yahoo (undesirable) but my bookmarks and logins are still there. A temporary solution to this problem is to open chrome settings, go to the search engine tab, and manually change it to google search.
